MyTrips Program

The City of Seattle’s MyTrips Program provides a variety of benefits to encourage employees across the City’s many worksites to commute sustainably.

The City of Seattle is one of the largest employers in the city, with 14,000 employees across multiple worksites and is affected by the Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) law.  We seek to lead by example by providing an excellent array of commute options that decrease the number of driving commutes and encourage sustainable and economic access to city employment.

This comprehensive commuter benefits program includes:

  • Fully subsidized transit pass including vanpool and State Ferry Passenger Pass subsidies
  • Personalized Trip Planning Assistance
  • Bike Program with secure parking, repair discounts with seasonal onsite mechanic, device lease programs, & shower/locker facilities
  • Carpool/vanpool matching
  • Guaranteed Ride Home program
  • Monthly Rewards programs

MyTrips has helped the City of Seattle become one of the best performers within the state mandated Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) program, with 68% of all CTR-affected City employees commuting without driving alone in 2024. At the City’s Civic Center downtown campus, 87% of employees use a commute option other than driving alone.

If you are a City of Seattle employee, you can access more information about your commute benefits here.
