Hillman City

Project Overview

We’re making improvements on the intersection of 39th Ave S and S Orcas St in Hillman City to make it safer and more comfortable for people to cross. We’ll also improve accessibility by adding new curb ramps. These upgrades were requested by community during a “walkshop” in April 2025.  

This project is being built as part of the Neighborhood-Initiated Safety Partnership Program, which works with the highest need communities to design and build safety improvements. We expect construction to begin in late 2026.

Project elements include:

  • Four new concrete curb bulbs 
  • Eight new curb ramps
