Pinehurst

Project Overview

We’re making improvements in Pinehurst to make it safer and more comfortable for people to walk, bike, and roll in the neighborhood. These upgrades were requested by community during a “walkshop” in January 2025.

This project is being built as part of the Neighborhood-Initiated Safety Partnership Program, which works with the highest need communities to design and build safety improvements. We expect construction to begin in late 2026.

Project elements include:

  • NE 125th St and 8th Ave NE
    • A new all-way stop
    • New marked crosswalks
    • Paint and post curb bulbs, which make it easier for everyone to see each other at intersections. To learn more, click here.
