Fares & ORCA Card
The Seattle Streetcar is an integral part of the overall transit and mobility network for Seattle. Using the streetcar also allows riders to connect to broader regional transportation networks via King Street Station, Westlake Station, and Union Station.

Day Passes for Adult and Senior fares:
Valid for an unlimited number of trips on the day of purchase, on Seattle Streetcar only. They can be purchased at the ticket vending machines at each station. ORCA Regional Day Passes can be purchased at ORCA vending machines and online at the ORCA website. ORCA Regional Day Passes are accepted on bus, light rail, commuter rail, streetcar and foot ferry services operated by Community Transit, Everett Transit, King County Metro, Kitsap Transit, Pierce Transit, and Sound Transit.
Children/Youth:
Youth passengers can use their Youth ORCA Card to tap at ORCA readers at streetcar platforms or can carry their current high school or middle school student ID. Youth who do not have one of these cards can still board for free.
Regional Reduced Fare Permit (RRFP):
People 65 or older and people with disabilities can ride at a reduced rate with a Regional Reduced Fare Permit (RRFP). An RRFP is given to you on an ORCA card. More information on eligibility and how to obtain an RRFP.
ORCA LIFT:
A low-income adult fare (ORCA LIFT) is available to adult riders with a gross household income (before taxes are taken out) that is no more than 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level. Qualified riders are issued an ORCA card to pay their fare. Cash or paper tickets are not available for this fare category. For ORCA LIFT, day passes are only $4.00 per day. Ways to Pay
Paper Ticket
Buy a paper ticket at a pay station, located at each Streetcar station. Pay stations accept credit cards or coins. You can purchase up to five single-ride or day pass tickets in one transaction.
ORCA Card
Get around town easily on the streetcar with the ORCA card.
If you have an ORCA card, please tap your card at the yellow ORCA card reader located on each platform before getting on the streetcar. You do not need to tap your card again when you exit the train, at most stations; however, if you are boarding at Terry and Mercer northbound, you will need to tap your card when exiting at Lake Union Park or Fairview and Campus Drive.
Transit GO
You can use your smartphone as your ticket by purchasing a one using the Transit Go app. When you're ready to board, simply activate your purchased ticket and get on.
Transfers
You can transfer to or from Link Light Rail, Metro Bus, or other participating services if you paid your fare with an ORCA card. Please tap your ORCA card at the yellow ORCA card reader at the Streetcar station platform before boarding the Streetcar. Within an approximate 2-hour window, the value of your previous trip will transfer toward your next ride. Additional fare might be required.
