Upcoming Contracting Opportunities
COMING SOON! We will soon use this page to post upcoming consultant contracting opportunities for SDOT on an ongoing basis. For now, see the list of upcoming consultant opportunities from June 2023, and read below to navigate to bid opportunity announcements.
Finding Work with SDOT
The Seattle Department of Transportation provides many opportunities in consulting, construction (public works), and purchasing. Read through the following information to ensure you can access upcoming contracting opportunities.
Starting September 2023, all current SDOT consultant solicitations will be posted and accessed through the Bonfire platform. Register at bonfirehub.com to ensure access to solicitations, addenda and associated documents, and to submit your bids for all SDOT consulting opportunities as well as Citywide purchasing opportunities. Citywide construction (public works) contracting opportunities will continue to be available on ProcureWare.
Open Contract Opportunities are advertised through http://consultants.seattle.gov/
To ensure SDOT and other City Departments are aware of your business and can contact you, be sure to register with the City of Seattle through the Online Business Directory and keep your profile current. Here you can:
- Join a Consultant Roster for a specialized service. SDOT uses the Roster consistently to find consultants for a variety of projects.
- Register as a Women or Minority-Owned Business (WMBE) with the City of Seattle. The City strongly encourages Departments and staff to engage WMBE firms in contracting opportunities.
