Pier 62
Dock closed for repairs
The floating dock at Pier 62 Park is closed while a broken piling on the floating dock is removed and replaced.
- The float is currently closed and will stay closed until repairs are complete.
- The entire pier will be closed to the public on Friday, January 30, while the piling is being removed.
- Once the piling is pulled, the pier (but not the float) will reopen to the public.
About
Pier 62 is one acre of flexible public space programmed year round with cultural, recreational, and educational programs celebrating all communities and cultures. It serves as a gathering and event space for activities such as yoga, soccer, concerts, festivals; as part of the larger Waterfront Park.
Through an unprecedented partnership between the City of Seattle's Parks & Recreation and Friends of Waterfront Seattle, Waterfront Park is vibrant public park with secured funding, safety, and maintenance for years to come.
