Teen Life Centers

Seattle Parks and Rec's three Teen Life Centers (TLC's) at Garfield Community Center, Meadowbrook Community Center, and the Southwest Pool complex each offer after-school programs and late night activities. During school breaks, TLC hours often shift to be open during usual school day hours. All programs are free.

TLCs offer free pre-college programs like tutoring, mentorship, and internships. Fun group activities for teens include field trips, cooking classes, fitness, internships, and more. Caring staff serve as facilitators and mentors, and Teen Councils plan youth-centered programming and teenage support groups.

A Participant E-13 Form is encouraged for all participants, but not required for on-site drop-in programming. (E-13 forms are required for teen swims, off-site field trips, internships, or to opt-out of photo model consent.)

Teen Late Night

Teen Late Night (TLN) programs offer fun things for teenagers to do on Friday and/or Saturday nights. Free teen activities include field trips, games and movies, paid internships, meals, and more.

TLN is hosted at all 3 Teen Life Centers and 5 Community Centers. Most programs run from 7pm-12am. Check with your local TLC or Community Center for exact schedules.

A Participant E-13 Form is encouraged for all participants, but not required for on-site drop-in programming. E-13 is required for Teen Swims, off-site field trips, internships, or to opt-out of photo model consent.
