Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) is in the early design phase of implementing improvements to the Walt Hundley Playfield Restroom. A design consultant has been selected to conduct a building assessment to inform the scope of improvements.

Budget
The total budget for this project is $400,000 in funding provided by Seattle Metropolitan Park District (MPD).
Schedule
Planning: Winter 2025 - Fall 2025
Design & Permitting: Winter 2026 – Spring 2027
Construction: Summer 2027 – Fall 2027
Completion: Winter 2027
Project Description
This project includes a structural building assessment and will address interior and ADA improvements to the restroom.
Walt Hundley Playfield Restroom will, at a minimum, be partially closed during construction. SPR will work with our design team to limit the impact on building users.
