Colman Pool Lessons

In 2025, Colman Pool will offer two 5-week sessions:

1. Session A:  June 23 - July 24
2. Session B: July 28 - August 28

All lessons will be taught twice weekly, Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday.

Class Offerings:

• Preschool, age 4-5
• Beginning Swimmer, age 6-16
• Advanced Swimmer, age 6-16

Advanced Swimmer is for those who can swim 25 yards of crawl stroke with side breathing, and are comfortable in deep water.  Contact your nearest indoor pool for an Advanced Swimmer skill assessment.

Rentals and Pool Parties

Availability and Booking

Colman Pool is available for party rentals from 7:00-8:00PM, on most Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays between June 29 - August 31. The cost is $365.00 for a party of up to 30 guests.  Use the button at the bottom of this section to book on Active Net.

• Rental bookings open on April 8, 2025.
• We will keep waiting lists for each rental date in the event of a cancellation.
• Limit 1 reservation per family. If you book multiple dates, you will be asked to choose just one, and the others will be canceled. 

Pool Rules

Alcohol, recreational drugs, and smoking are prohibited. Guests who appear intoxicated will not be permitted to swim or supervise children. Food is allowed, but glass containers of any kind are prohibited.  Small sound systems are allowed, but music must not disrupt park use outside of the pool facility. There is no personal vehicle access to the beach walk or pool. Tables and chairs are available. The slide will be open upon request to those who can pass the deep-water swim test, without the use of a PFD. Children younger than 6 years of age and/or under 48” in height must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times, within arm’s reach and eye contact.

Cancelation Policy

We will cancel your rental and provide a full refund if dangerous weather conditions occur, (lightning, hail, unhealthy air quality or high winds that present a risk of falling debris). We do not offer refunds for rainy or cool weather.

• Cancelations with 31 or more days’ notice, are eligible for a refund for all but $89.00 ($50 plus $39 booking fee).
• Cancelations with 15- 30 days’ notice, are eligible for a 50% refund of your total minus booking fees ($39.00).
• No refunds for customer-initiated cancelations with under 14 days’ notice.

Colman Pool will operate Preseason Weekends from May 10 to June 15.

Saturdays, Sundays, and Memorial Day (May 26)

May 10-11, May 17-18, May 24-26, May 31-June 1, June 7-8, and June 14-15

Each day will have 4 swims:

• 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
• 1:45 pm - 3:15 pm
• 3:45 pm - 5:15 pm
• 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Each swim will have 4 lap lanes (50 meters) and 1/2 open pool for recreational use.  The 1 meter diving board will be open.

June 16 - September 1

Colman Pool will operate 7 days a week from June 16 to September 1, including holidays July 4th and September 1. 

Each day will have 4 swim times:

• 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm.... Lap Swim (daily) and weekend Recreation Swim (Fri-Sun only) 
• 1:45 pm - 3:15 pm.... Lap Swim and Recreation Swim
• 3:45 pm - 5:15 pm.... Lap Swim and Recreation Swim
• 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.... Lap Swim and Recreation Swim

Lap Swim has four 50-meter lanes.
The 1-meter diving board will be open during Recreation Swim.

Please note, no Recreation Swim on Monday-Thursday between 12-1:30pm.  Swim Lessons will instead be taught in this block.

Colman Pool will be closed for swim meets  June 26-28 and July 18-19.

September 6-7 and 13-14

Each day will have 4 swims:

• 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
• 1:45 pm - 3:15 pm
• 3:45 pm - 5:15 pm
• 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Each swim will have 4 lap lanes (50 meters) and 1/2 open pool for recreational use.  The 1 meter diving board will be open.
