Dahl Playfield Restroom Renovation

Summer 2026

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) identified the Dahl Playfield Restrooms in 2023 as a renovation project. The restroom caught fire during the design development phase and now requires additional work to address the fire incident. The project scope now includes a structural repair, roof and electrical replacement, and removing accessibility barriers. 

The restrooms will remain closed through design and construction. Construction activity may impact the play area, more information will be available as we near construction.
