Summer Playgrounds & Summer Meals

Recreation, nutrition, and enrichment at outdoor parks, in conjunction with the free summer meals program

Specifically for youth ages 0-18, the Summer Meals & Summer Playgrounds program provides nutritional and physical education in conjunction with free meals provided by the citywide "Summer Sack Lunch" program. 

The Summer Playgrounds portion offers free fun activities, including Naturalist visits, Bookmobiles, Story Hours and Arts & Crafts.

Presented by Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR), Seattle Human Services (HSD) and United Way of King County

Beacon Hill Playfield , Brighton Park , Cheryl Chow Park , Highland Park , Judkins Park , Little Brook Park, North Acres Park, Othello Park , Pratt Park, and Roxhill Park

Community Center locations:
Garfield, Jefferson, Yesler, Bitter Lake, Meadowbrook, Northgate, Rainier, Rainier Beach, High Point, South Park, and Van Asselt
