Garfield Playfields – G3 Playfield Infield Conversion

A new synthetic softball (G3) infield in the northeast corner will be constructed later in 2026 through a separate bidding process. By sequencing this work with the GSB construction, SPR is able to reduce impacts from field closures.

The G3 infield conversion project has secured $1.5 million in funding from the Seattle City Council.
