About

Garfield Teen Life Center was built in 1994 and offers free drop-in programs for youth age 13-19, including After School and Late Night programs.

Garfield TLC offers a space for teens in after-school, summer, and late night hours.

GTLC's program offerings include mentorship, job readiness, youth employment, academic support, recreation enrichment, and field trips.

GTLC is located on the campus of Garfield High School, and adjacent to Garfield Community Center and Medgar Evers Pool, providing a thriving hub of activities and opportunity for youth in the Central District.

Participant Forms

Participant E-13 Form is encouraged for all participants, but not required for on-site drop-in programming. E-13 is required for Teen Swims, off-site field trips, internships, or to opt-out of photo model consent.
