Don Armeni Boat Ramp
Service Interruption: Emergency Repair
Due to abnormal wear, all floats at Don Armeni Boat Ramp must be removed for immediate emergency repair. All floats will be removed on November 7th, 2024. It may take until late January before they are reinstalled.
During this time, Don Armeni Boat Ramp will remain open, but there will be no floats to tie up to. For most this will mean that a second person will be needed to launch and retrieve.
The nearest Seattle Parks and Recreation Boat Ramp with saltwater access is Eddie Vine Boat Ramp in Ballard, located at 8001 Seaview Ave NW, next to Golden Gardens Park.
About
Located on Harbor Avenue and Maryland Street south of the Duwamish Head, Don Armeni is the most popular of Seattle's saltwater boat ramps. Don Armeni's close proximity to many favorite fishing spots on the south end of Marine Area 10 and the other south Marine Areas makes it a popular ramp for fishers during salmon season. Another attraction is the view. From across Elliott Bay the Seattle waterfront looks spectacular, making Don Armeni a popular spot for ceremonies, photographers, and sightseers.
A boat launch payment machine is located on premise. The machine will accept coins or bills ($1, $5, $10 & $20), and issue a dated ticket. The machine will not provide change.
