Don Armeni Boat Ramp Improvement
Updated: April 21, 2025
Spring 2025
The Boat Ramp is currently closed for the reinstallation of floats. Boats can still be launched, but only without the use of the floats.
The Bellingham Marina Industries (BMI) has mobilized the site and is beginning repairs to the float system. The float system was removed in November 2024 because the hinges between the floats were failing and the concrete on the floats was spalling and cracking. We anticipate BMI will complete the re-installation by the first week in May. Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) requested that the fabricator open one side first, so that we can at least restore to partial service in April. This schedule will remain weather-dependent.
The nearest City of Seattle launch location is Eddie Vine Boat Ramp on the south edge of Golden Gardens Park at 8001 Seaview Ave. NW.
