This wonderful neighborhood park was underwent a renovation and reopened to public in June 2024. It is located along Sand Point Way and is connected to the Burke-Gilman Trail. This park features various trails (paved and unpaved) to park features allowing users a choice of challenge in the route they wish to use, play elements including swings, timber net climber, accessible merry go round, slides, hillside rope climb, cave feature and a sand and water play area. The park features artwork by Hannah Viano, Abe Singer, Nichole Rathburn, Kate Clark, and Devon Midori Hale. Equipped with 3 accessible all gender restrooms which include universal facilities (toddler and adult sized changing tables are available in each restroom), benches, porch swings, grills, covered picnic shelter, a ravine overlook, sensory garden, nest seating area and a large synthetic lawn area for recreation or to stop and throw a picnic while on a longer trail journey. There is ample bike parking racks and fix it station for those who come via the Burke-Gilman Trail. Please note there is limited parking onsite, most spaces are reserved for accessible parking needs, so please plan accordingly. Street parking is available on the east side of Sandpoint Way NE and along the north side of park, at NE 55th Street, and 40th Ave NE.
