Visitor Center closed, no beach parking permits
Discovery Park Visitor Center is closed until further notice. The rest of Discovery Park is open as usual.
We are unable to issue beach parking permits while the Visitor Center is closed. Parking at the beach level without a permit or ADA placard is not allowed and may result in citation or towing.
Update Nov. 29, 2025: Miracle Beach closed south of the West Point Lighthouse until Friday, December 5 at 12pm. People and pets should avoid contact with the water. Signs are posted. See King County Wastewater Incident Response for full information.
Beach level parking at the West Point Lighthouse is closed during the Miracle Beach closure.
Parking and Beach Shuttles
Saturday Beach Shuttle Bus
On Saturdays from June 7 to August 30, 2025, a free shuttle bus will provide access to the beach, a free shuttle loops between the East, North, and Beach parking lots, arriving each location approximately every 30 minutes. Shuttle operates on Saturdays only from 11 am-5:30 pm, with the last trip leaving the beach at 5:15. Please donate what you can to support the shuttle bus. Donations accepted online through ARC.
Allowed on the shuttle: People, service animals, and strollers.
Not allowed: Pets, coolers, surfboards, paddleboards, other large items.
