About

A simple neighborhood park, Bitter Lake Reservoir is a great place for the community to gather and play. A fence encircles the reservoir itself, so access is limited, but for simple purposes this park has what you need. This park offers exciting play equipment while meeting current ADA accessibility and safety standards.

Bitter Lake Reservoir Open Space also features a P-Patch project built by Seattle Conservation Corps in coordination with Department of Neighborhood and community volunteers. More information about this P-Patch can be found at the Department of Neighborhoods website.

The partnership of Seattle Parks Foundation, MOMentum, and the Trust for Public Land - along with Seattle Parks - installed a "Fitness Zone." This outdoor free gym consists of four pieces of high-quality outdoor exercise equipment: Free Runner Station, Flex Trainer Station, Leg Lift Station and Sit-Up Bench Station.

Current Project

Visit the Bitter Lake Reservoir Park for information on the Play Area renovation and how to participate in the community input process.
