About

Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center is a busy center located north of the University District, and east of Green Lake, half a block from NE 65th St.

The most recently built section of the facility was completed in 1986, attached to the existing Ravenna Elementary School building. The new part of the building includes a lobby and full-size gym. Most of the programmable rooms are part of the school. The center also includes a multipurpose room with a kitchen, stage and teen room. Behind the building is an outdoor basketball court, tennis court, play areas, walking path, playfield, and a community garden.

The center offers drop-in and registration-based programs to participants of all ages from tots to teens to adults. See the drop-down menu for drop-in programs, and the registration buttons to see upcoming programs.

Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center also operates 2 after-school program sites at Wedgwood and Thornton Creek Elementary Schools.
