Waste Prevention Survey (for Seattle residents)

Take the Waste Prevention Survey

Thank you to the more than 500 Seattle residents who have already participated in the survey. Your input will play a crucial role in shaping waste prevention programs that truly address the needs of our city. We encourage Seattle residents to continue to share your perspectives through the survey link by April 5.

The survey is available in English, Amharic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

Waste Prevention Service Provider Survey (for Organizations/Businesses providing waste prevention services)

(Open November 7, 2023 to January 19, 2024)

The Waste Prevention Service Provider Survey has closed. Thank you to the organizations and businesses that shared their experiences and perspectives on helping the Seattle community prevent waste. Your input will play a crucial role in helping SPU better understand how we can support community-led waste prevention efforts.

Waste Prevention Plan Review

SPU will share the Draft Waste Prevention Strategic Plan for additional community feedback in late 2024 or early 2025. We will also share the community input we collected and how we reflected it in the WP Plan.
