Customer Programs

Toilet Replacement Rebate

Replace your old toilet – made before 2004 – with a new eligible toilet and you may qualify for a $100 rebate! Learn more at Saving Water Partnership's Toilet Replacement Rebate page or call (206) 615-1282.

Sprinkler Timer Replacement Rebate

Get up to $100 when you replace your old sprinkler timer with a new WaterSense timer. Note, this rebate is available for sprinkler timers purchased between April 1st and October 31st. Learn more at Saving Water Partnership's Sprinkler Timer Replacement Rebate page or call (206) 684-5955.

Free Toilet Program

Is your household income at or below 80% of the state median income and/or are you a Utility Discount Customer? You may be eligible for a free toilet! To learn more, visit Free Toilets for Homeowners or contact our partners, Sound Generations, at MHR@soundgenerations.org or (206) 448-5751.

Side Sewer Assistance Program

Seattle Public Utilities in partnership with the Office of Housing’s Home Repair Program offers income-qualified Seattle homeowners 0% interest loans to fix their broken side sewer. For more information, please call (206) 684-0244 or email HealthyHome@seattle.gov.

RainWise

Seattle property owners in eligible drainage areas can receive rebates for the installation of rain gardens and/or cisterns that capture rooftop rainwater.  RainWise rebates cover 70-100% of project costs. By participating in RainWise, you can help conserve water, improve our city’s climate resilience, and reduce flooding, sewer overflows, and pollution entering our waterways. Learn more at RainWise.

The Stormwater Facility Credit is for property owners with stormwater systems that help reduce the impact of stormwater on the City's system. Systems that provide stormwater flow control and/or provide water quality treatment are eligible for the program.

Free Bulky and Special Items Pickup

Utility Discount Program customers that live in a single-family home and receive a Seattle Public Utilities bill in their name can get two free pickups per year of bulky and special items including large furniture, appliances, electronics, and more. Free Transfer Station Drop-Off

Utility Discount Program customers that live in Seattle can get two drop-off vouchers for Seattle Public Utilities’ North and South Transfer Stations. Learn more about the Utility Discount Program and request vouchers by calling Conservation Corps (206) 684-0190.
