Volunteer to Clean Up Graffiti
Want to help clean up graffiti in your neighborhood? Seattle Public Utilities would love to support your efforts!
Please Note:
- SPU CANNOT support volunteers to clean up graffiti on public property. If you see graffiti in public places, please report it on the Find It, Fix It app.
- SPU CAN support volunteers with materials to clean up graffiti on private property, WITH PERMISSION from property owners.
Let's get started!
- Please fill out and submit our graffiti clean up form online.
- You'll need permission from the property owner in order to paint out graffiti. Please have them fill out the Graffiti Cleanup Permission and Release Form, and send directly to us adoptastreet@seattle.gov.
- Coordinate with AAS staff to receive supplies. Email adoptastreet@seattle.gov or call (206) 684-7587.
- Safely complete your graffiti clean up. Make sure everyone who works with you, including yourself, fills out this Graffiti Paint-out Volunteer Liability Waiver.
- Report your work! Let us know how long you worked, the area you painted out, and how many people helped you. Email adoptastreet@seattle.gov with the following info: number of hours, people, square footage, before and after pic, pic of you (if you want!)
