Lincoln Park South Play Area Renovation

The construction contract for Westcrest Play Area and Lincoln Park Play Areas was awarded to LW Sunstrom. Construction began the week of January 5, 2024. The play equipment manufacturer will ship the new play structure by the end of February. Construction will continue through May. We look forward to opening the new play area in June 2024.
The bid set for this project includes the play equipment replacement at Westcrest Park. Both projects will be constructed by the same contractor.

Seattle Park District provides $600,000 for planning, design and construction.

Project Description
This improvement project is funded by the Seattle Park District. The play area renovation will update play equipment with play structures accessible to children of all ages and abilities. Additionally, accessibility improvements that meet the standards from the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will be made throughout the play area.
