Multifamily properties must have at least five units to participate in the Multifamily EV Charging Program.

Multifamily EV Charging Rebates

Our EV charger rebates offer flexible project caps depending on the property type and parking allocation. Only project costs related to the installation of applicable chargers are eligible for coverage. This includes labor, wiring, conduit, circuitry, permits, and materials. Requirements are subject to change.

Level 1 Electric Vehicle Charger

Outlet Charger
Outlet chargers use a standard household electrical outlet.

Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charger

Level 2 Charger
Level 2 chargers use a high voltage and require professional installation.

Parking at Multifamily Housing Properties

  • What is included: Outlet receptacles (120V)
  • Project cap: 100% of total project costs up to $15,000.
  • Additional requirements: Outlet receptacles dedicated to EV charging must be a product that can control usage and manage payment.

Shared/Unallocated Parking at Affordable Housing Properties

  • What is included: Level 2 charger
  • Project cap: 100% of total project costs up to $50,000.
  • Additional requirements: Customer must install a minimum of two charging ports and self-certify that the project is for shared parking spaces only.

Shared/Unallocated Parking at Condominiums or Market-Rate Properties

  • What is included: Level 2 charger
  • Project cap: 50% of total project costs up to $25,000.
  • Additional requirements: Customer must install a minimum of two charging ports and self-certify that the project is for shared parking spaces only.
