Marriage Ceremony Request
Complete the form at the bottom of the page to request a marriage ceremony performed by a Seattle Municipal Court judge.
Ceremony Availability
Seattle Municipal Court judges are available to perform marriage ceremonies at the courthouse at 4:30 p.m. every weekday. The courthouse is closed on weekends and holidays, however judges can perform marriage ceremonies at flexible times at a location of your choosing. There are a limited number of marriage ceremonies available per day, so we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
Wedding Party Size
Wedding parties are limited to a total of 8 people, including the couple and 6 witnesses.
Request Timeframe
We do not accept requests that are made more than 8 weeks in advance before the requested date. If your wedding date is more than 8 weeks away, please wait to submit your request.
Courthouse Rules
Please note that pets are not allowed in Seattle Municipal Court.
