Market Gardens

Due to the impacts of COVID-19, the P-Patch Community Gardening program will not be operating our Market Gardens in 2021. 

For the second year in a row, market gardeners at High Point and New Holly have decided to NOT operate the farm stands due to ongoing risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the gardening space previously associated with farm stand production will be converted into stewardship plots, food bank/giving gardens, and youth plots. Stewardship plot assignments will utilize the P-Patch Program's priority placement guidelines for low-income and POC gardeners. P-Patch staff will also support City Fruit's summer pop-up events at the High Point and New Holly farm stand locations to distribute free fruit and vegetables to community membe

P-Patch Market Gardens

The two gardens are located at NewHolly and High Point on Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) property. The gardeners work communally and sell the organic produce through farm stands. The P-Patch staff work with the gardeners to develop and manage the gardens, along with selling and marketing the produce. Watch this video to learn more about P-Patch Market Gardens at SHA.
