City of Seattle Elections

A vacancy has occured in Seattle City Council District 5. A special election will be held in 2026 to fill that role until the regular election occurs in 2027. Only residents living in District 5 will receive two, $50 Democracy Vouchers in 2026.

When the regular election occurs in 2027, all Seattle residents who meet eligibility requirements will receive four $25 vouchers.

You may recycle your 2025 Democracy Vouchers. District 5 residents will receive new Democracy Vouchers for 2026.
