Off-Street Parking in Downtown Seattle
SDOT periodically surveys off-street parking in downtown Seattle to monitor the supply of off-street parking, improve our understanding of how parking is used in different neighborhoods, and provide a consistent data source for public and private projects.
In spring of 2021 SDOT surveyed over 60,000 publicly available parking spaces in over 250 garages and lots located in downtown Seattle.
Earlier downtown parking studies were conducted by the Puget Sound Regional Council.
Each technical report contains the study methodology and summary of findings.
