What's happening now?

Thank you to all who participated in the community prioritization process for this Neighborhood Street Fund project!

This project is now being constructed as part of the Georgetown to South Park Connection. We're planning to construct both projects in 2024.

Project Background

In 2019, the South Park and Georgetown Safe Connections project was one of 15 projects selected by the Levy to Move Seattle Oversight Committee to be funded through SDOT's Neighborhood Street Fund (NSF) Program. Neighborhood Street Fund is a City program, running on 3-year cycles, that enables neighbors to propose and help prioritize transportation-related projects that are then built by the Seattle Department of Transportation.
