For Street Use Permits

- Street Use (ONLY) Virtual or Phone Coaching Appointments:
- Available Monday – Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Email SDOTPermits@seattle.gov or call (206) 684-5253 to schedule. (Include your name, email address, permit number, and questions so the reviewer can prepare in advance of your coaching session).
- Email the assigned reviewer for:
- Corrections required response clarification or questions during technical review
- Permit status inquiries outside the permit timelines posted below
- Email the assigned inspector for:
- Job start changes after the Initial Inspection has passed
- Inspection questions including notification, inspection results etc.
- Schedule an on-site meeting
- Mail Street Use documents such as Street Use bond and/or Indemnity Agreement:

In-Person Services
SDOT is offering limited in-person support available through our new SDOT Customer Information Desk where you can drop off documents, receive in-person language help, and assistance with applying through the Seattle Services Portal as well as some technical coaching.
Traffic and Street Use SDOT Customer Information Desk:
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Location: This service is located on the Fourth floor of the Seattle Municipal Tower at 700 5th Ave.
