About

The International District/Chinatown Community Center is located on the southern edge of Seattle's historic and ethnically diverse Chinatown International District. The center is next door to the International District/Chinatown Branch of the Seattle Public Library, near several prominent social service agencies, restaurants and other retail shops.

Built in 2004, the community center features a small lobby, fitness room, multipurpose room and kitchen, lockers and a 2nd floor gym and music room. The multipurpose room has lots of windows that allow plenty of natural light into the room.

The center offers many drop-in programs including table tennis, badminton, pickleball, basketball, yoga and line dancing. The gym is available to teens several times a week. The center also partners with several agencies to offer special programs and events including a monthly community kitchen where community members get together once a month to cook and eat a meal together. In the summer the community center host activities in the local parks including family fun events and art in the park at the Donnie Chin International Children's Park.
