About

TT Minor Park includes a children's play area, a sports field, a jogging/walking path and relocation of the existing school parking lot. Improvements also included landscaping, new paving, benches, a drinking fountain and a bike rack, all of which are accessible to people with disabilities.

TT Minor Park was one of the first projects for the City's "Grey to Green Initiative," a program charging the Parks Department to convert asphalt surfaces to green space for park use at selected school sites throughout the city. It is also a part of the Central Neighborhood Plan that includes projects for such neighborhoods as Capitol and Beacon Hills.

Current Project

Visit T. T. Minor Playground Play Area Renovation for information on renovation of the playground and how to participate in the community input process.
