Carkeek Park Playground Renovation

Seattle Parks and Recreation would like to thank everyone who participated in the online survey and those who joined us for the online public meeting on December 9, 2021. This project will replace the existing play area and make accessibility improvements to the pathway from the parking lot to the play area. This project will use synthetic safety surfacing in the play area. If necessary, this project will also hire an artist to repaint the Salmon Slide. All improvements will meet accessibility and stormwater requirements.
The play area will be closed throughout construction.
