Operations are spread across five battalions containing 33 stations with an on-duty staffing of 211 members.

Medic One

Medic One

Since 1970, the department has been providing world renowned Advanced Life Support (ALS) and pre-hospital emergency care through firefighter/paramedics stationed around the city.

Technical Teams

Technical Teams

Technical Teams include the Hazardous Materials Response Team, Dive Team, Confined Space Rescue, Heavy Rescue and Marine Emergency Response Team.

The FAC, or Dispatch, receives and processes all 911 calls for SFD resources.
