About

McGilvra Place is a small, tree-shaded triangle at the intersection of E. Madison St., E. Pike St. and 15th Ave.

McGilvra Place was created in 1901. The small triangle of land is named after John J. McGilvra, whose homesite was on Lake Washington at the end of the road through the timber which became E Madison Street.
