About

Cedar Park shares the name of the elementary school it neighbors. Used by school children and neighborhood families alike, the play area has swings, a play structure, and basketball courts. A paved walking path follows the outline of an oval-shaped lawn great for running and exploration. Parking is available on the street in in a small parking lot entered on 37th Ave. NE. Visitors can enter the park through the school's grounds or via gated paths on 37th Ave. NE. Note that the park closes during recess while school is in session.

Completed Project

Cedar Park Renovation project provided for the retrofit of the existing play features, improvement to site circulation and access, and upgrades to meet current safety and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The contractor has completed the last of the surfacing installation and some additional work on the net climber. The community expressed its desire to continue forward with renovations to the park. The final playground plan will be displayed on the project sign board at Cedar Park. The park plans will be coordinated with Seattle Public School's redevelopment plan to include a joint-use playground/park feature with Cedar Park Elementary.
