Commercial Space Consulting Program
Eligible businesses receive 10 FREE consultation hours for the following services:
- Advocacy with landlord: Guidance and support to effectively navigate leasing obstacles and strengthen landlord‑tenant relations.
- Lease review: Detailed evaluation and guidance to strengthen understanding of lease terms and support informed decision‑making while minimizing risk.
- Kitchen operations: Operational guidance and permitting support to improve compliance and long‑term efficiency.
To be eligible for these services, you must be a for-profit business based in Seattle (you are required to have a City of Seattle business license) and meet ALL of the following three (3) factors:
- No more than 50 full-time equivalent employees;
- No more than $ 5 million annual revenue;
- And no more than two (2) locations.
The timing for matching applicants with consultants will depend on consultant availability and workload. The Office of Economic Development will finance up to 10 hours of consultant support at no cost to eligible small businesses.
Applicants are responsible for financing any work that exceeds the sponsored 10 hours. Applicants will be notified of their application status within 7–10 business days of submission.
