Community Supportive Space
Duwamish Valley Affordable Housing Coalition
This last year, the Office of Planning & Community Development (OPCD) secured $500,000 to support the ongoing work of the Duwamish Valley Affordable Housing Coalition. In particular, the money was used to support the conceptual design of a multi-purpose building on the Unity Electric Site, which is part of the Resilience District work. This multi-purpose building would support affordable, community-supportive nonprofit spaces.
