Internet Availability

High-speed internet service is available to most Seattle households, making Seattle one of the most connected cities in the country. Fiber optic and cable service is available from internet service providers (ISPs) Lumen, Comcast, and Astound Broadband. Seattle also has two ISPs that offer internet service to apartment and condominium buildings, Atlas Networks and Google Fiber.

Highspeed internet service is also available in many parts of the city from wireless ISPs. Those ISPs are Verizon (5G Home Internet) , T-Mobile (5G Home Internet), and Salmon Bay Wireless.   

To check the broadband (internet) service options at your address, you can use the above ISP links or the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) interactive map. Go to https://broadbandmap.fcc.gov/home or click on the map below.

Notes:

• Map data is provided by ISPs to the FCC on a semi-annual basis and may be subject to minor variation in current providers and broadband speeds. 
• Smaller local ISPs (like Atlas Networks and Salmon Bay Wireless) may not be included on the FCC map.
• Providers are continually expanding their high-speed coverage, so be sure to also check directly with the providers to see what services may be available for your home. 
• For apartment and condo buildings, you can also use the 'building finder tools' on ISP websites to see if a building is served.
