Request Public Records from the Legislative Department

The Legislative Department is Seattle City Council, Council Central Staff, and the Office of the City Clerk.

Tip: Many of our records are available online and through research assistance without submitting a Public Disclosure Request. See Online Records and Research Assistance below.

4. Follow the on-screen directions to complete your request

Records held by the Seattle Municipal Archives are open to the public and available for research during business hours.
