Domestic Workers' Bill of Rights

Background

The Council is considering legislation to provide basic labor standards for domestic workers and to give an ongoing voice to workers and employers so that they can come up with solutions for their industry.

Councilmember Mosqueda conducted a series of listening sessions with domestic workers - including house cleaners and nannies - employers, academics and more. Three listening session were held in Seattle as well as an online town hall:

Meet the Council
