The Office of the Waterfront, Civic Projects, and Sound Transit acts as the lead for several interagency transformative civic projects. Civic program implementation includes public outreach, partner coordination, planning, design, and construction oversight.
Established as the Office of the Waterfront and Civic Projects in 2014, the office expanded to include the once-in-a-generation Sound Transit expansion portfolio in January 2025. To that end, Office of the Waterfront, Civic Projects, and Sound Transit Director Angela Brady was appointed as the Mayor’s Sound Transit Designated Representative on behalf of the City of Seattle.
