Emergency Situations

In cases of an emergency, a landlord can enter the tenant's unit without notice.

Examples of an emergency include:

• There is evidence of a major plumbing leak in the unit, such as when water is leaking through to another unit
• A fire is suspected in the unit
• The police have been called to place a wellness check for the tenant and the landlord is allowing officers to enter the unit
