Access to preventative care and education are the leading determinants of pet health, wellness and safety. Yet, one in four pet owners experience barriers to veterinary care due to limited finances, according to the Access to Veterinary Care Coalition.

That’s why the Seattle Animal Shelter, a division of the Department of Finance and Administrative Services (FAS), has launched free drop-in pet vaccination clinics that seek to expand veterinary access and pet resources.

Shelter staff will be on-site providing pet owners with free dog and cat vaccines, deworming treatments, flea treatments, microchipping, pet licensing as well as cat and dog food and supplies.

Clinics are first-come, first-serve. We recommend arriving early and dressing for the weather.
