Cabins

Cabin reservations begin in January each year, for rental occupation from March through October. Reservations can be made beginning January 1 by phone or in person. Office: (206) 684-7434

There are 10 rustic cabins named after local mountain peaks. Each cabin has six full-sized beds in 3 sets of double bunks. Cabins have a faucet, sink and fireplace outside. Many of the cabins have BBQ or a fire ring close by. There are two comfort stations on site that have showers, toilets and sinks.

Special Event Spaces

Celebrate your ceremony at Camp Long! Located in West Seattle, just south of the West Seattle Golf Course, Camp William G. Long has a charming WPA era stone and wood lodge surrounded by a lovely forest. It is an ideal setting for ceremonies, parties and other special events. There are also captivating outdoor sites that provide a natural background for your special event.

A fantastic place to host a party, meeting, workshop, or special event. This is a DIY facility, meaning reservation must include time for you to provide set-up and clean-up.

The Lodge

Main Hall - The hall features a brick fireplace and tall ceiling and has a maximum capacity of 72 people. Rental cost includes 12 six-foot-long rectangular tables and 72 chairs. The room has French windows along the north and east walls.

Wonder Lab - The activity room in the basement is great for smaller groups. The capacity is 35 people and includes tables and chairs. The room includes 2 sinks and a whiteboard.

Kitchen - A full kitchen is available for rent and catering services. Bring your own kitchen supplies.

• Alcohol is prohibited by law at Camp Long except inside the Lodge with permission, insurance and appropriate licenses.
• No tenting, RVs or camper trailers are allowed to be used in the park or parking lot overnight.
• Pets on leash, no pets overnight or in cabins.
• No electric heaters.
• No amplified music.
• Groups must clean up all areas used.
• There are no refunds on outdoor amenity rentals (cabins, shelters, fire ring, climbing structures)

Picnic Shelters

We offer two separate covered shelter areas with picnic tables that are perfect for group events. The East Shelter is larger and has a large BBQ grill. The West Shelter is closer to the parking lot. Each shelter also has a fire ring nearby.

Large Fire Ring

A fire circle at the south end of the parade grounds can be rented for your group to have a campfire. Firewood, when available, can be purchased on-site from the Camp Long Advisory Council. You must bring your own kindling and marshmallow sticks. A flag pole is located nearby for flag ceremonies.

Parade Grounds

The parade grounds can be rented for ceremonies and events. Due to the irrigation system, no stakes should be pounded in the ground.

Natural Areas

Day camps and other groups can reserve areas for study and use.

Schurman Rock / Glacier Slab
