Delridge Skatepark Project Information

Current Status

July 2009
A third and final meeting was held on June 22, 2009 presenting the schematic design to the community.

The power point presentation shared at the meeting is available here for review. Comments were collected from the community and will be considered for incorporation in the final design. Once the final design is completed, it will be posted at this site.

Project Description

Budget: $76,000
$76,682 total project budget including site investigations, public process, design and administration. This budget covers a full design process only.
The total construction budget including administration and all other related costs is anticipated to be $750,000. Construction funds have not yet been secured.

The plan for this park is to make it an innovative full service skatepark that can accommodate a variety of features and different skill levels. The skatepark will be located in a complex where existing field sport activities (baseball, soccer, tennis) where parking, bathrooms, and basic amenities are currently located. The scale of this project is expected to range from 10,000-15,000 square feet.
