About

South Park Playground was renovated in 2025 and includes a synthetic turf sports field, a seasonal spraypark, and a fenced off-leash area for dogs. 

The play area offers climbing, swinging, sliding options for all.  The thick, bright green rope climbing structure offers fun and excitement as it rises to a 25 ft high platform with a tube slide.  The swing set offers a dish swing for two people to participate at once.

Additionally, the park offers a paved sports court for basketball and street hockey.

It is adjacent to the South Park Community Center.

Reserve your tennis court

Outdoor tennis court reservations are managed by Amy Yee Tennis Center, with self service reservations available online in Active Net (free account required).  Reservations are also available by phone. Call (206) 684-4764, or visit Amy Yee Tennis Center in person.

Indoor tennis court rentals are available at Amy Yee Tennis Center.
