Neighborhood Street Fund (NSF) 2016 Projects

On November 3, Mayor Murray announced the 12 funded Neighborhood Street Fund (NSF) projects for the 2016 selection process. These projects will be designed in 2017 and constructed in 2018. If you live or work near one of these projects, we'll be reaching out with more information and to get your input about these projects early in 2017.

NSF projects to be constructed in 2018:

Earlier this year, applicants submitted project proposals to the NSF Program and each Neighborhood District Council selected five projects to move forward into the conceptual design phase. The conceptual designs for all 65 projects are now complete.

You can find projects using the web map or by clicking on the link in the table below. Either will take you to the conceptual design information sheet for that project.

During the conceptual design process, we review proposals, visit project locations and analyze traffic data. We then develop conceptual design sheets describing the potential projects. You may see a difference between the applicant’s request and the final conceptual design. In some cases, we could not support the exact request due to policy considerations or the results of traffic analysis.

The cost estimates shown on the information sheets represent the expected cost to design and construct each project. Costs include getting a detailed survey of each location, conducting outreach, as well as the design and construction phases. If any other City funds were available to support the project, they are also noted.

Each concept includes a list of impacts and benefits associated with the project. Public engagement will begin if a project is selected for funding. Adjacent residents and businesses were not notified of these projects during the conceptual design stage of the project. The list of impacts reflect possible risks as the outreach and design process begins.

The Levy to Move Seattle Oversight Committee will review all projects early this autumn. Final funding decisions are expected by the end of October 2016 and will be updated on this webpage.
