2024 Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) Events

An Environmental Impact Statement provides information about potential environmental impacts on a proposed project. We will host two virtual DEIS information sessions and two in-person DEIS public hearings that will provide an overview of the process and an opportunity to provide feedback. Links to the virtual meetings will be available prior to the event. Visit our Project Documents page to view the DEIS materials.

DEIS Information Sessions

Written comments may be submitted until May 6 at 5:00 p.m. at the DEIS Story Map or mailed to:

Jim Holmes, Office of Planning & Community Development
P.O. Box 94788, Seattle, WA, 98124-7088

Email written comments to PCD_CompPlan_EIS@seattle.gov.

DEIS Public Hearings

The public hearings are an opportunity for individuals and groups to provide verbal comment on the DEIS. Commenters will be asked to sign up on a form that will be available online one hour before the hearing or in-person 15 minutes before the hearing. Commenters will be asked to speak in the order that they signed up, alternating between online and in-person commenters. There will be a two minute time limit for each commenter. Links for online commenters will be available prior to the event.
