Updated: April 18, 2024

This project is complete!

The 15th Ave NW at NW 83rd Street Pedestrian Safety Enhancements project was completed in April, 2024.

What’s happening now?

We are thrilled to share the completion of our 15th Ave NW at NW 83rd Street Pedestrian Safety Enhancements project. Crews have finished installing all safety upgrades at this intersection.
The intersection has been enhanced with the addition of a new pedestrian and bike signal, a pedestrian refuge island, marked crosswalks on the north and south legs of the intersection, designated crossings for east and westbound cyclists, and restrictions on northbound left-turn movements onto westbound NW 83rd St for vehicles.
